- eligible programs include:  Education, Physical Education, Health Education, Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related program

Sea to Tree Health & Wellness Scholarship

The goal of the The Sea to Tree Health & Wellness Scholarship is to promote careers in mental health to increase access to mental health services in Sooke, which is largely an underserved community.

Selection Criteria:
- Sooke resident
- starting post-secondary within a year of graduating from high school
- pursing a mental health related career with a desire to work in Sooke
- community service
- financial need
 

Wolf Scholars Program (U of T)

This scholarship covers full tuition as well as $10,000 per year in funding for living expenses.  

Criteria: academic excellence (min 90% average), intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, strength of character

For students with majors in the Faculty of Arts & Science (excluding Commerce).
e.g. Computer Science, Humanities, Life Sciences, Mathematics & Physical Sciences, Social Sciences

For students attending the St. George Campus.

Financial need is not required. 

Horatio Alger Skills and Trades Scholarship (for BC students)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • completed high school by July 1
  • applying for or enrolled in a vocational or technical certificate program at a government not-for-profit institution with direct pathways to employment
  • financial need ($100,000 or less annual net family income)
  • perseverance in overcoming adversity
  • under age 35
  • Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
